AHMEDABAD, INDIA, May 23, 2016: Nordson Corporation has appointed Ravinder Kumar as assistant manager of customer service in India for Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) melt delivery and pelletizing products.
He will be responsible for technical support of BKG® underwater pelletizing systems; Kreyenborg melt filtration equipment, pumps, and valves; and Xaloy® screws and barrels.
“Ravinder brings fourteen years of plastics industry experience as an engineer with two leading extrusion and compounding equipment OEMs,” said Mrunal Sanghvi, general sales manager for Nordson PPS products in India and Pac Rim. “He has expertise in the installation and startup of processing equipment and supporting customers to solve problems and optimize production.”
Mr. Kumar comes to Nordson from the Coperion Group, where he was assistant service manager for nine years. He entered the plastics industry in 2002 after earning diplomas in electrical engineering and machine maintenance. From 2002 to 2007 he was a service engineer with Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd., India’s largest exporter of extrusion equipment.
